Breast Cancer Survivor Marks 10 years for ARTsisters, Chestnut Hill Local, posted on December 11, 2014 by Lou Mancinelli

... Garfield has taken to traveling to faraway places with her husband and making art with a colorful rhythmic approach, with a quality that makes one think she has been refining her craft since she was eight. There’s something peculiar to her paintings that at once bring to mind French masters of the late 1800s and early 1900s and the calm, flowing feel of the Japanese paintings of curling waves or a fishing village. They blend the magic world of imagination with a thoughtful and evocative reality that seems to be on the move, like a ripple.                    http://www.chestnuthilllocal.com/2014/12/11/breast-cancer-survivor-marks-10-years-artsisters/

Hers and His, review by Victoria Donohoe, Philadelphia Inquirer, 6/11/10

Linda Dubin Garfield and Rich Dunbrack share a show at Z Gallery in West Chester. Wynnewood's Garfield relies on both chance and choice as she moves rapidly among printmaking, photography, collage, and digital imagery. Omitting most historical references from her art, she often prefers abstraction, her scatterings of mottled colors exuding a tranquillity heightened by the exuberance of textured surfaces.
